Vectron at InnoEX 2026: A Recap from the La French Tech Pavilion

From April 13 to 16, 2026, Vectron exhibited at InnoEX 2026 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre — four intense days of demos, conversations, and connections that mark a real turning point for us. We showcased the platform from the La French Tech pavilion, under the France banner, alongside some of the most exciting French startups operating in Asia.

Exhibiting Alongside La French Tech

Being selected to exhibit with the La French Tech Hong Kong delegation was one of the highlights of our year so far. La French Tech is the French government's initiative to support and promote French startups on the global stage — and the Hong Kong chapter is one of its most active international communities, backed by volunteer French and Francophone entrepreneurs who champion the Mission French Tech internationally.

Exhibiting under the French flag meant far more than a booth. It meant being part of a curated ecosystem of founders tackling serious problems across service and industrial automation, advanced robotics, AI, premium lighting, green tech, and construction tech. Standing alongside that calibre of companies reinforced something important: French startups in Asia are no longer niche — they are building serious, category-defining products, and Vectron is proud to be one of them.

About InnoEX

Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), InnoEX brings together technology companies, startups, investors, and government bodies from around the world. This year's edition spotlighted five dynamic areas: AI+, Robotics, Low-altitude Economy, Property Technology, and Retail Technology. Attendance spanned Hong Kong, mainland China, Southeast Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and beyond — making it one of the highest-signal B2B venues in the region.

Meetings with Prospects

The demand at the booth was constant. Over four days we ran back-to-back live demos for construction companies, developers, quantity surveyors, MEP contractors, and procurement leaders from across Asia. Recurring conversations centred on the same pain points we hear everywhere: fragmented BOQ workflows, painful RFQ cycles, opaque supplier pricing, and AI tools that do not understand construction drawings.

Several of those conversations have already turned into pilot discussions. Watching a quantity surveyor react to the AI extracting a full BOQ from a drawing in under a minute — and then immediately ask “when can we have this?” — is exactly the validation we came here for.

Meetings with Investors

InnoEX brought some of the most active VCs in Asia to the floor. We had meaningful conversations with early- and growth-stage investors focused on ConTech, B2B SaaS, and vertical AI — both in the Hong Kong ecosystem and across the La French Tech network. Several follow-ups are already booked, and the feedback loop has been invaluable for shaping how we tell the Vectron story at this stage.

Meetings with Fellow Founders

One of the best parts of exhibiting with La French Tech was the time spent with other founders. The La French Tech Hong Kong community is dense with operators who have already figured out how to navigate Asia — from GTM strategy and hiring to navigating Hong Kong, mainland China, and Southeast Asian markets. We traded notes with founders across robotics, industrial AI, lighting, green tech, and enterprise software.

The same energy extended to the broader HKSTP ecosystem — fellow founders from the HKSTP Ideation and Incubation programmes were out in force, and many of the most useful conversations of the week happened in the corridors between booths. These are the relationships that compound over years, and being part of both communities is a real competitive advantage.

What We Showcased

At our booth, visitors saw live demonstrations of:

  • AI-Powered BOQ Generation — Upload a construction drawing and watch AI extract a full Bill of Quantities in seconds
  • Intelligent RFQ Management — Send requests for quotation to suppliers, track responses, and compare bids in one platform
  • AI Negotiation Agent — Set guardrails and let our AI negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers autonomously
  • Telegram Integration — Manage procurement workflows directly from Telegram, anywhere, anytime
  • Design Viewer — View and annotate DWG, PDF, IFC, and BIM files directly in the browser

What's Next

We are following up with every prospect, investor, and partner we met during the week, and we are already planning our next round of market outreach off the back of these conversations. A huge thank-you to the La French Tech Hong Kong team for making this possible, to HKTDC for organising an outstanding event, and to everyone who stopped by the booth.

If we met you at InnoEX and you want to pick up where we left off — or if you missed us and want to see the platform for yourself — you can book a demo directly with the founder.
